The wedding industry reveals common themes each year, both fresh trends, recently unveiled, and classic trends that stand the test of time.
Catersource and Event Solutions partnered with the Academy of Wedding and Event Planning to publish the second International Wedding Trend Report, compiling global wedding trends into one resource. Additionally, 50 top wedding professionals from around the world gave insight on what’s trending in their region, including colors, fashion, venues, catering, and more.
In 2016, envision natural elements, metallic accents, and opulent flair combined with a cool color palette. You can also expect to see the 2016 Pantone Color of the Year, which is the blending of two shades: Rose Quartz and Serenity. Other key trends to watch this year include personalization, Latin inspiration, eclectic décor, and a focus on food.
