April Luca, Owner of Gold Sky Productions (GSP) has positioned herself to be one of the most celebrated event producers in the business because of her ability to deliver consistent and innovative events to her clients. She has successfully produced events within the fashion, music, gaming, sports and entertainment industries.
April began her career in New York planning events for clients like Betsey Johnson, Project Runway and Nickelodeon, along with creating marketing and promotional events for publications such as GQ, Details, W Magazine and Nylon. She has been interviewed for outlets such as Forbes.com, Catering Magazine and Biz Bash to discuss her success in the event industry and share her producing tips. Her most recent project was consulting on the brick and mortar build for NeueHouse Los Angeles, a 100k sq. ft. historic renovation of the original CBS building in Hollywood. April’s year long consultation focused on functional design for NeueHouse’s six event spaces, including a 9k sq. ft. sound stage, Studio A. Studio A has historical significance in the radio and television industries, as it is the stage where the pilot for "I Love Lucy" was filmed, and Orson Welles presented his "War of the Worlds" Broadcast.
In 2016, April developed a Digital Department for GSP, linking guests’ onsite event experience to the digital world. Her team can create digital content and strategy increasing a company and sponsor’s ROI.
