Sometimes running a catering and events business can seem like an 8 days a week kind of job. Tracking inventory, finding your niche, keeping up with trends, maintaining vendor relations, endless marketing...the list goes on. Especially if you’re relatively new to the industry, it can be a challenge to gain traction. We can empathize! Catersource is a community full of catering and event professionals who have been there, done that, and can help you solidify your success and excel as a business owner.
In an effort to help new catering and event businesses, we launched the Catersource Future Star contest leading up to the Catersource Conference & Tradeshow (Feb 24-27, 2019) that will award a career-changing prize package, valued at over $8,000, to one lucky winner.
So, if you have a catering and events business that’s less than 3 years old, we want to hear from you. AND we want to fly you to New Orleans to attend Catersource (on us!), be mentored by the best of the best and return to your business inspired.

PAUL SAGINAW
Paul Saginaw and Ari Weinzweig joined forces to found Zingerman’s Delicatessen. They opened the doors on March 15, 1982. All they wanted at that time was a great corned beef sandwich and an organization with soul. Zingerman’s started as 1300 square feet of combined restaurant and specialty food retail space, run solely by Paul, Ari and two employees. The Zingerman’s Community of Businesses now has 22 partners, employs over 750 people and generates over $60 million in annual sales from ten separate businesses. Paul believes that he has been successful in spite of the fact that he has limited natural talent and abilities because he has always thought that the only real limits are those of vision.
