Expanding into the luxury plant-based catering market, Marcia Selden catering, in partnership with Matthew Kenney Cuisine (MKC), launched Naked Fig Catering on September 10, 2019 at its exclusive New York City Event space, Above 12, in midtown Manhatten. The event was so "lit" that the building went on fire. In true NYC fashion the NY Fire Department showed up to save the day. They evacuated party goers and fizzled the flames so that guests could safely return to the celebration.
But—a little fire could never put out a Selden party flame, so while their friends at the NYFD worked their magic, hosts and guests took to the streets of NYC until it was safe to return to the "Garden of Eden."
Here's a look at some of the great food and "special guests" at the event.

About the cusine the company will be presenting, Robin Selden said, "Here are just a few of my personal favorite dishes that we are doing but to be honest I’ve loved them all!"
Best wishes to the team at Marcia Selden Events and MKC on their launch. May their fortunes in plant-based catering continue to grow!
