All throughout January and February we'll be highlighting some of this year's speakers leading up to Catersource + The Special Event, happening February 12-15 in Austin, TX.
Kevin Lacassin, CEO, Good Food Events + Catering
Kevin is an ambitious and successful business owner with over two decades of experience in leadership, business management, finance as well as inside and outside consultative sales experience with a proven track record. He is energetic and enthusiastic with skills that include relationship building, prospecting, public speaking, team management and goal-oriented success. He began his career in New Orleans, spending several years as a financial advisor before taking a leap of faith into the hospitality field where he worked in various capacities in the bar and hotel industry. After re-locating to Tampa, FL he founded and grew a high-end event catering company which he continues to own today. Good Food Events + Catering has catered events for Super Bowls, College Football Championship Games, Republican National Conventions and hundreds of weddings, corporate and social events in the Tampa Bay region. In 2022 he acquired Delectables Fine Catering and has re-vamped the branding, expanded the company and worked to fine-tune his dual branding growth strategy. In addition to ownership of his companies, he enjoys being on the water (boating or beach), photography, biking and doing these activities with his kids and his family. His personal and business motto is "under-promise and over-deliver" and has worked tirelessly to "make things happen."
John Serock, Owner & CEO, John Serock Catering
John Serock was always a different kid. While most kids dreamed about being in the NBA or becoming president, he dreamed about opening a catering business. (It’s true, you can check his 8th grade yearbook!) John realized his dreams when he founded Serock Catering in 2000 after catering a small party for a family friend. “When I’m not at work you will find me playing pickup basketball or with my wife and kids either jumping the waves at the beach or taking in a Sixers or Eagles Game!”
Jeremy Brown, Founder & CEO, Nameless Catering
Jeremy is a life long restaurant worker that changed into entrepreneur who is constantly looking for a better way to do things. He is laser focused on customer service, and nothing is more important than customer satisfaction. Jeremy spends his days at the company office and test kitchen in Indianapolis, but he always finds time to stop by co-working spaces and Nameless kitchens to help the company stay in tip top condition.
