Better the Second Time Around: Great Uses for Leftovers
2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15
What should you do with leftovers? Try to donate them to shelters or food banks? Compost them? Give them to a local farm?
Chefs Hunter Hunt and Robert Mendoza will discuss some of the practical and delicious uses they've found for kitchen leftovers at Culinary Crafts. They'll share some of the recipes they developed to repurpose common leftovers, and they'll talk about how leftovers have become an important part of Culinary Crafts' company culture. From daily staff meals to the pickled button mushrooms that have become a client favorite, creative uses of leftovers can cut food costs; boost morale; and leave your team, guests, and fellow vendors smiling.
