Delmonico's, the iconic New York City restaurant known for its rich history and exquisite cuisine, is pleased to announce its partnership with Elegant Affairs Catering, a leader in upscale catering services. The collaboration, Delmonico’s by Elegant Affairs, will offer a premier off-site catering option for events across Manhattan, NYC, Long Island, and the Hamptons, allowing event planners and guests to enjoy the renowned dishes and exceptional service of Delmonico’s in the comfort of their chosen New York venue. Known as America's first fine-dining restaurant, Delmonico's has been a cornerstone of NYC dining for over 185+ years, famous for its classic dishes such as the Delmonico Steak, Chicken a la Keene, and Baked Alaska which was created in the Delmonico’s kitchen in 1867. From corporate gatherings to social celebrations, this new elevated catering option will extend the restaurant's culinary excellence beyond its historic walls in NYC's Financial District, providing guests with an iconic dining experience off-site. Event planners and clients have the option to select several of the restaurant’s most popular and iconic dishes including the Delmonico Steak, Lobster Newberg, Wedge Salad, and Baked Alaska. Planner, groups and clients can also enjoy modern interpretations of Delmonico’s classic favorites such as individualized Baked Alaska, mini Maine Crab Cakes, Baked Alaska Milkshakes, and a “Delmonico’s Steak Experience” dinner station for guests featuring three different cuts of steak, caramelized bacon, and Delmonico’s dinner sides. As part of the collaboration, Delmonico's by Elegant Affairs offers full management of catering and event details - including finding the perfect venue, crafting a personalized menu, and managing all aspects of an event such as party rentals, event services, vendors, and staffing.

Restaurant Associates is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Hansen as the Senior Executive Chef of The Kennedy Center. In this new role, Chef Hansen will oversee catering and culinary programs for the Roof Terrace Restaurant, KC Cafe, and Intermission Bars, bringing his expertise and passion for American cuisine to one of the nation's most renowned cultural landmarks. Under Chef Hansen's guidance, The Kennedy Center's culinary offerings are set to undergo an exciting transformation. He is dedicated to incorporating seasonal ingredients and highlighting diverse aspects of American cuisine, with a goal of delivering fresh, innovative dishes that surprise and delight guests. His creative and lively menus are designed to complement the cultural significance of The Kennedy Center, enhancing the overall experience for visitors. Chef Hansen joins The Kennedy Center with an impressive background in high-profile culinary settings. Chef Hansen has spent the last decade honing his skills in New York City managing large-scale catering operations and multiple kitchens for elite corporate audiences at Barclays’ executive dining room and JP Morgan Chase campuses. Following his time in New York, Chef Hansen relocated to Northern Virginia, where he continued his work with Restaurant Associates at prestigious sites including Amazon, Deloitte, and Gartner. His background and innovative approach to cuisine make him an ideal fit for The Kennedy Center’s esteemed culinary venues.

Icebow is announcing that it has finalized the development of the Joice Machine - the world's first automated industrial ice machine that produces premium logo ice cubes called "Joice Cubes". Icebow's Joice Machines are planned to be installed at the production facilities of specialty ice suppliers and enable them to produce and deliver thousands of personalized, custom designed logo ice cubes a day. Up until today, producing logo ice cubes has been a slow and labor intensive process with crude looking logos stamped or carved on the top surface of the ice. Icebow's new Joice Cube format allows for more detailed, higher resolution and shinier logos that are imprinted at the center of the ice cube, effectively isolating them from the drinks and ensuring a longer lasting experience. Icebow already has a number of global specialty ice suppliers lined up to support high-end brand events, luxury weddings and parties in their locale. "Our ultimate goal is to empower luxury clients to WOW their guests and create a more intimate drink and brand experience", said Elad Mor, Icebow's CEO.
