Backyard Escape
Serves 1
For added fun, increase the recipe to serve a crowd, and use a watermelon tapping kit to decant this cocktail directly out of the watermelon.
Ingredients
1.5 oz Angostura White Oak rum
.5 oz Lillet Blanc
.5 oz Simple syrup (1-1)
3 oz Fresh watermelon juice
2 dashes Angostura Orange Bitters
Garnish with a watermelon slice
Method
- Add all ingredients into a mixing tin along with ice
- Shake and strain over fresh ice into your favorite highball glass
- Garnish with a slice of fresh watermelon and a cute paper straw
Rangoon Gimlet
Serves 2
Aromatic bitters add an appealing flavor to this refreshing cocktail.
Ingredients
3 oz vodka or gin
1 oz Fresh lime juice
2 oz simple syrup
4 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
16 oz (2 cups) crushed ice
Garnish with fresh mint or basil
Method
- Add all ingredients into a blender. Pulse to achieve desired consistency
- Pour blended mix into a rocks glass and serve with a fresh sprig of mint or basil
