Candice is a polished, energetic and focused sales and marketing professional. Her educational background, extensive foreign studies, and professional experience have made and continue to make her a key player in every position she has held. Candice began honing her professionalism during her internship at the White House. There she helped implement the President's and First Lady's visits outside the residence. Soon after graduation, she relocated to Greenville where she worked for the Hughes Agency as a Senior Account Executive. She handled a portfolio valuing over $2 million by processing daily operations, managing client relations, and initiating creative strategies to enhance her wide array of clients. She also executed trades, media buys, and creative assignments totaling over $5 million in placements. Most recently, Candice has been leading the repositioning and restructuring of a Charleston based full-service catering and event company. By implementing a new sales structure, the company saw a 35% increase in her first two years. This change along with her careful monitoring of business expenses, resulted in profitability for the company for the first time since 2007. Since last year, their revenue has grown by over 17%. In 2017, Candice took over majority ownership of Hamby Catering. As she continues to represent the company as a spokesperson for various philanthropic commitments and media coverage, Candice prides herself on recruiting world-class talent to the sales and culinary team. Hamby Catering is now considered an industry leader in the number two destination-wedding city in the country, much to Candice's tireless efforts and loyalty.
