Oregon Fruit Products has unveiled two new additions to its Fruit in Hand line for the foodservice market: Cherry Compote, Peach in Raspberry Sauce Compote and Lemonade.
Oregon Fruit in Hand products are made by hand-selecting fresh fruit picked at the peak of ripeness. It is manufactured to maintain the flavor and color of the fruit and lightly sweetened with cane sugar to enhance the fruits’ natural sugars. It contains no artificial flavors or colors, and no high fructose corn syrup. It is certified Kosher, gluten-free, and non-GMO. Fruit in Hand Lemonade ships frozen in one-gallon containers, defrosts within hours under refrigeration, and stays fresh for up to 6 months.

Hot Off the Press
Entries are now being accepted for the third-annual Blended Burger Contest, sponsored by the National Mushroom Council and in collaboration with the Food Network. Chefs are invited to create an original spin on a blended burger using at least 25% chopped cultivated mushrooms in the patty for a chance to win $10,000!
